Announcing the new CFO University Finance and Accounting Portal Upgrade
The ACS Finance and Accounting Learning and Development Practice helps CFOs, controllers and finance executives develop and manage financial talent for greater business impact through a combination of finance learning strategy creation, finance curriculum development and content, and consulting and competency development.
ACS Learning Services is pleased to announce to our customers that CFO University will soon be undergoing an upgrade, with a new look and even greater functionality and performance. This upgrade will provide all CFO University users with access to new courses, content updates, and an improved portal interface. Click here for specific items details about the upgrade timing.
New Features to the CFO U Library!
New course offerings: With this upgrade, CFO University will be adding 189 new courses to our catalog. The combined course offering is now nearly 600 courses. A listing of the new courses is contained in the attached CFO University Course Availability Update Report. Details on each course are also available in the CFO University Course Catalog.
New content provider: We have partnered with ILX Group, a leading provider of financial and business skills learning solutions, to include their catalog of over 30 courses in our CFO University solution. We were particularly interested in their finance courses for non-finance professionals, and their courses cover topics such as financial fundamentals, budgeting, business basics, operational and strategic analysis, cash flow, working capital, activity-based management and value creation. These courses are also available in UK English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Dutch and Mandarin.
Course updates: This upgrade includes updates to 23 current courses. A listing of the updated courses is contained in the attached CFO University Course Availability Update Report. Details on each course are also available in the CFO University Course Catalog.
New Functionality for a Better User Experience!
New user interface: While all of the navigational features that are present in the current version of CFO University will be available in the new release, the site will have a slightly different look and feel. You can see sneak preview of the home page on our website. The new interface has been designed to be very user friendly and allow learners to navigate the site quickly and locate and launch their desired learning.
Browse content by category: One exciting new feature of the site is the ability to browse available courses by category, such as accounting accuracy, business knowledge, financial reporting, internal audit and controls, tax, etc. This feature will be available from the CFO University home page.
Additional value-added features: The new CFO University can also provide additional features and functionality to organizations. These features include customization of the home page for specific organizational news, ability to integrate an organization’s custom content into the site, and creation of specific user groups within an organization to assign specific courses.
